The Private Practice Division of the American Planning Association strives to provide services to meet the needs of private practitioners in the field of urban and regional planning. The division offers its members access to networking opportunities, resources, timely information and technical support.

The APA-PPD list offers the division's geographically dispersed membership an opportunity to share information, ask questions of a professional nature, and disseminate news pertinent to planning consultants.

Some guidelines for the use of this list:

- As an interactive listserv, any member may post a message.

- To benefit all subscribers, we urge members to use subject headers that relate to the body text, quote in moderation, and keep the discussion relevant.

- Commercial or self-promoting ads are not allowed - please refrain from advertising. You can include link to your site in your signature as long as it is not obtrusive.

- Please do not post internet virus scares, dirty jokes, political propaganda, test messages, "one-liners", binary attachments, flames, etc.

As a general rule, if you think it might be inappropriate, then it probably is. Please use your good judgment.
