has two full time positions available in Lowell, MA. They are looking

Position: QA Engineer
Location: Lowell, MA
Duration: PERMANENT

Qualifications and Skills:

(Prioritize the skills the candidates - must have and good to have)
Must haves: Practical experience working in an Agile environment with
SCRUM, XP or another Lean methodology, SQL, White Box testing, JAVA
development skills, J2EE, strong-make it happen personality. Good to
haves: Test Driven development, analytical, ePayment testing, UNIX,
Linux, AccuRev, wiki, GUI testing, Eclipse development environment,
work under tight schedules, test automation scripting (JUNIT, XML)

Functional Responsibilities:
(What are the primary and secondary responsibilities of the candidate)
Create and maintain test case repository. Validate and verify the
development of a quality product that meets strict rules and
guidelines. Work as a team to create an automation framework
supporting development and other QA staff. Refactor existing tests,
recommend and implement improvements. Utilize JAVA skills or 3rd
party test automation tools to develop a repeatable and robust suite
of tests. Work in an Agile (eXtreme Programming) environment, where
development and QA work on the same schedule. Become a go-to contact
for business and technical related issues.
Project Description (A brief description of the project that the
candidate will be working on): Client's work in a credit card payment
processing business. Projects that the candidate may work in include,
new technologies implementation, 3rd party vendor/merchant
integrations, core processing.

Qualifications and Skills:
Must haves:
Proven experience in designing and implementing complex load,
performance and server system integration test harnesses. Strong
knowledge of OLTP transactions, server tuning, metrics and capacity
planning. A working knowledge of JAVA, SQL, ECLIPSE, UNIX, XML and
test automation tools. JAVA, SQL, JBOSS and Tomcat are a must.

Functional Responsibilities:
(What are the primary and secondary responsibilities of the
candidate):
Simulate multiple OLTP transactions, merchant batch files, UI users,
and back end jobs Capture standard system metrics response time for
transactions.
Design and generate trend reports. Configure JBOSS and Cache servers
and tuning. Identify and implement hardware needs
Create automated test scripts supporting positive and negative
testing Identify tools or build framework for Performance and Load
testing Reproduce typical database operations that are effected from
online, batch workflows and back-end jobs.
Capture SQL from workflows, parameterize certain values and execute
a test script that spawns a configurable number of threads and
replaces parameters with valid values. Create a test harness for easy
search of test cases and reduction of test case duplication. Project

working on):
This role is aimed at a candidate looking to take their systems
testing skills to the next level. Utilizing performance and Load
testing techniques as well as highly technical systems server
configuration and analytical protocols. Build a test harness that
provides architecture with a means to support, forecast and measure
large transactional processes and user requests.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to build an environment from
the bottom up.

Architect an infrastructure supporting automated load testing that
easily responds to new versions of software and urgent configuration
updates. Binding/mapping – bind processes with soft config to
machines in the hard config Analyze the existing functional
integration test harness that supports systems level testing and
develop automated tests capable of dealing with multiple servers /
multiple instances of applications. Work closely with the
architecture to develop system capacity model that can be used to
project load on systems vs. projected growth of volume.
