**ARTICLE: "How to Easily Track Click Thrus from Your Ad Campaigns"

If you are paying for online advertising in any form, you
need to know that you're getting results. So before you
place your next ezine ad, let's talk about tracking. There
are many different situations where you may want to track
clicks such as signature lines, banners, articles, ad swaps
and text ads.

By coding your url's with some kind of software or an
online third party service, you'll know at a glance
just how many hits you've received from your latest
venture. It's really not as hard as it sounds and
there are many free services you can use that won't
cost you a dime. Let's take a closer look at a few
of them.

1) HyperTracker: http://www.Hypertracker.com

Offering two versions, a free and a paid service
coined "Professional," it's simple to sign up
and start using. The Pro version runs $10.95 a
month and allows you to not only track clicks,
but actual sales - plus you can use your own
domain in the coded links. The free option is
simply a stripped down version - minus the
advanced features and counting only
clicks. Complete reports can be mailed to you
weekly or daily; your call.


2) StatCruncher: http://www.Statcruncher.om

Offering a 30 day free trial with no software
to install, as this is a third party solution.
If after 30 days you like it and decide to
continue on, it will cost you only $49.00 a year
with no additional monthly fees.

3) LinkCounter: http://www.Linkcounter.com

Another third party service totally free that
will mail you a daily report of all activity
on your links. You simply assign a different
coded link for each url you'll be using. If
you have more than one domain you'll need
to set up a separate account for each one


4) Adtrackz http://www.Adtrackz.com

This is an actual CGI script you purchase for $47.00
and install on your own server.
It only runs on Unix servers (so it's not an
option if you're using Windows NT). It gives you one
click stat reporting all in one place. Each
campaign shows you the referring url, what
browsers your visitors used, hits per hour,
per day and more. Try it 30 days risk free.


5) ProLinkz: http://www.Prolinkz.com

This is another CGI Perl script that you install
on your own server. For Unix only; running $45.00
but for an additional fee they'll install it
for you. Allows you to use your own domain
in the coded links.


By taking advantage of the above tools you'll be
able to tell at a glance which ads were a good
buy and just how much activity your links are
getting. These services and scripts allow you
to make the most of your advertising dollars so
you know what's working and what's not.

So stop throwing good money after bad by implementing
a link tracking system today, you'll make more
informed advertising decisions tomorrow.

"Comparing the Guaranteed Hits Free Traffic Boosters"

Many internet business builders
are taking advantage of free traffic,
simply by letting their browser start page open up
with a random page from another member.

You see their page, they see yours.

No money changes hands so the new traffic is free...


You earn more hits when your friends sign up
and open their browsers.
and even more hits when they bring their friends in, and so on,
several levels down.

The more hits you have,
the more times your site will show up
on another member's browser.

You get more traffic to your site --
it's 100% free and they do all the work!

But which of these services is right for you?

There are dozens of these services available,
but I'll just compare three

STARTBLAZE
NO MORE HITS
CLICK SILO

and give you some ideas of things to look for.

STARTBLAZE

StartBlaze --run by Michael Joyner of the Aesop Companies
is my favorite for the QUALITY of the traffic.

It is also recommended by Jay Conrad Levinson,
author of "Guerrilla Marketing" and Joe "Mr Fire" Vitale,
author of "Hypnotic Writing" and "Spiritual Marketing".

Now, most of the others work the same way but
WITH ONE VERY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE!

With StartBlaze, you open your browser once and get one credit --
that's it.

In order to get another credit
you need to actually open your browser again.

With Click Silo and No More Hits,
you open your browser once and get one credit
and then you can keep clicking over and over every few seconds
to view another members page and click up more credits.

Some people open up multiple browsers
and then instead of VIEWING THE PAGE
they have already moved on to the NEXT BROWSER
to click a button and get another credit.

So - although it may be EASIER to get credits this way,
people may be spending less time actually seeing what you
have to offer... AND you will have fewer UNIQUE VIEWERS
since the "multiple browser clicker"
may see your page over and over during his or her click session.

Note: StartBlaze puts a limit on the number of credits one person
can get per day from personally opening their browser.

This is the best one to use if you can REFER some friends
or business associates to help generate more hits.

They have also had two contests so far you can win a LOT of hits.
I won 10,000 hits in one of those contests.

It also has, in my opinion, the best quality traffic.

CLICK SILO

I use Click Silo on my Internet Explorer Browser.

Right now they are doing a 1-1 special
that is you view one page, your page gets viewed once.
(StartBlaze is 1-6 -- that is, one of your pages is viewed for
each six times you or one of your referred members opens your
browser)

You can get a LOT of hits on your site all by yourself,
by using the multiple browser, click on the buttons, concept.
So this is a good one to use if you don't like referring people.

NO MORE HITS

just doesn't seem to have the membership
to get pages viewed.

100 credits on StartBlaze can go in a day,
on Click Silo in an hour
but on No More Hits,
your 100 credits may still might be almost all there
without your page being viewed -- a week later!
