Tag Teams

Tag Teams are the internet version of the three way call.
This unique system uses e-mail to show prospects the ease
and power of on-line marketing and gives them access to other
people on-line that are working a particular MLM program.
Here's how it works:
1. You place ads in/on the various on-line services, newsgroups,
etc...(for your MLM).
2. Once you receive a response/lead...you e-mail that person back
with the follow-up information. For example, let's say Jane Smith as
your lead and Jane is interested in ABC Company...
3. You then e-mail members of your tag team (your upline, downline
or other friends also in the program)...with Jane's email address and
request that they tag Jane for the ABC company.
(Make sure everyone in your tag team understands the process and
agrees to the rule that no one steals a lead from another tag team
member. If anyone steals leads, do NOT invite them back...Period!)
Example: Hi tag team members...This is Colleen Mandato here, and
I've got this lead, Jane Smith, from Compuserve..she is interested in ABC
Company..Her online address is 1234,5678@...
Please tell her what a great program ABC Company is. Thanks!
NOTE: make sure you state which program you want the members
to tag since some people work with more than one company.
4. Creating Your Own Tag Team Response:
(so you can help other group members, when they send you a request)
Hi, My name is Colleen Mandato and I've been a part of ABC
company for a few months now..and let me tell you!
This program is awesome!! The leads are great,
the compensation plan is excellent and our unique on-line
tag team has helped place several members in my downline,etc...
A few rules and regulations for your Tag Team to abide by:
1. DO NOT send information on other companies to leads that are not yours.
2. Try to contact the group tag members only once a day...i.e..
save all your leads and email the members just once..Don't send
1 lead at 10am and then 2 more at 2pm and then 9 at 7pm..
I know you are all anxious to get as many people signed up as
possible...Remember that members of the tag group are busy
also and it's easier to do all the tags at once.
Another Tip: Don't worry if you have to wait a few days to respond
to your tag requests...it increases the time the prospect continues
to be aware of your company and your group support.
3. Select a small core group of people to do tags with. Involve your
up-line and your downline as much as possible, but crossline friends
make great taggers, too!

Since tag teaming is a new concept, people often have questions
about how it works. Here are some answers to frequestly asked questions:
Q: How do I request a tag for a prospect?
A: The best way to request a tag is to form a tag team group.
This group could include people in your up-line, downline or cross-line
that you respect -- you agree to tag for them, they agree to tag for you.
I suggest a group of 6...this way you can figure on about 4 timely tags.
Q: What should I tell the prospect before I request a tag?
A: I mention that they will be hearing from a few of my associates
about the products company and on-line support they can expect
if they join our group. I also mention that this provides them with a
more well rounded view of the program. Everyone who is seriously
interested in finding out more about a company can appreciate that.
Q: How many people will send a tag?
A: Depends on how many folks you ask! Don't ask too many though,
you don't want to have your prospect feel they are being badgered.
Q: What's typically in a tag?
A: Anything positive! The idea is for INDIVIDUALS to present their
own views so that the likelihood of the prospect identifying and
feeling comfortable with at least one member of the team increases.
Q: How soon will the prospect be tagged?
A: Usually within 24 hours, but sometimes it takes longer.
Most taggers will put your e-mail address in the CC box (Carbon Copy)
so you know who has tagged and what was said.
Q: How do prospects feel about being tagged?
A: Here is a message I received from a prospect about the process:
" I really appreciate the material you are sending my way, Colleen,
the articles on on-line marketing, the list of resources (great),
and the (*company name*) material. I see the Tag Team approach
in action and am delighted to get these messages. It addresses
a fundamental anxiety that naturally arises when we put ourselves
in the inquiring and receiving position, that we are unable to
check or corroborate what comes through only one channel, however
trustworthy we find it.
The Tag Team approach dispels a good part of that anxiety and
makes one feel supported by the accumulated experience of an already
functioning group. I think it addresses the peculiar circumstances of on-line
communication wisely and helpfully. I look forward to contacting those who
sent me messages about (*company name*).

ECCENTRICS LIVE LONGER!
SCOTLAND - Dr David Weeks, with the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, and the
author of 'Eccentrics: The Scientific Investigation,' has found that those
who march to the beat of a different drummer live five to ten years longer
than those who attempt to keep up with the Jones's. And not only this,
they are also healthier, happier and more intelligent then the rest of the
population. He found, for example, that on the average eccentrics visit a
doctor only once every eight years compared to about three times a year
for the general public.
In his research Dr. Weeks interviewed over 1,100 eccentrics and found that
they shared three primary characteristics: a keen sense of humor,
creative imagination and a strong will. He concluded that it was these
characteristics which not only set them apart but gave them the health
edge. Also, he noted that they shared an over-riding curiosity that drove
them forward and often made them oblivious to the small irritations and
stresses of daily life that plagued the general population.
In addition he found that they were often single, the oldest or only child
and poor spellers. They were generally aware of their differentness from
an early age, and happily obsessed by their hobby-horses. They tend to be
cheerful, idealistic, and full of projects to improve or save the world.
They may tinker with perpetual motion machines, discover how to assemble
cars from rubbish, or, in the case of John Chapman (better known as Johnny
Appleseed), traverse America planting zillions of apple trees.
'They don't try to keep up with the Jones's, they don't worry about
conforming and they usually have a firm belief that they are right and the
rest of the world is wrong,' Week says.
