The Alpaca Fiber Alliance is a group of alpaca farmers, breeders, fleece judges, fiber artists, processors and manufacturers, wholesalers, reps, retailers, and alpaca enthusiasts. AFA members are desirous of opportunities to network and coordinate all efforts toward the end goal of seeing alpaca fiber become a main staple in the textile market worldwide.

This site is our Forum. Focus is on the acquisition and/or development of the optimum quality of fleece, tops, rovings, yarns and finished goods, without compromise to the well-being of the alpacas providing the fleeces; as well as the care and development of alpacas themselves in whatever country and area they are being reared, bred and cared for.

Members are encouraged to submit their questions, goals, ideas, advice, suggestions and expertise to the membership and to the Files section of this web site for long-term sharing and archiving.

There are THREE moderators sharing the duties, and those may be changed periodically as requested by those graciously serving.
