The purpose of this group is to discuss the commercial aspects of the ARI registered alpaca industry. It is for those that believe that pro-active sales and marketing efforts are good for our farms and our industry. Postings that advertise ARI registered alpacas, events, auctions, fiber, fiber products, co-op business, and supplies are welcome. Postings should be limited to alpacas, but could include related things such as livestock guardian puppies, spinning wheels, scales, etc.
This group should not duplicate the existing forums that focus on education and health issues. Please post these topics to the appropriate groups unless they directly relate to your sales and marketing efforts. Use your good judgment on how often to post the same item, but once a month or so would be reasonable.
Remember that the tone and content of your postings reflect you and your farm. Please behave with integrity and respect for one another. Exposure to diverse opinions enriches us all....
