Majority of American women are full-figured. We are the dominant buyers in society. We prefer to use the term BBW because it promotes self-acceptance and peace. Being a larger woman has its own set of issues as with anything else. Relating to women of larger proportions is our steady mission. Representing ourselves effectively in home and family life, communities, grocery stores, work environments, corporate establishments, and in the media.

In order for there to be a change, we must recognize the agenda at hand:
uniting women of size along with other weight acceptance organizations to network within the plus-size community first (also known as BBW/BHM Community). Moreso than any time in history we are in high demand. Our responsibility lies in not only gaining but demanding respect as persons as well as business individuals.

You may think we have all the angles covered, from health & beauty to fashion & entertainment to marketing & promotions. Still we need your help in presenting the piece as a whole. Every contribution makes a great deal of difference.
