The Bulgarian Wall Street Club is an independent informal organization of people with non-profit goals. Bulgarian professionals from Wall Street Related Firms established the club in New York City on June 24, 2000.

BWSC’s mission is to bring together professionals with common interest in Bulgaria who also have background in the financial industry and related technology and business fields around shared goals. The goals of the BWSC are:
1) Networking, social and business contacts and career support of its members
2) Promoting business and investments between Bulgaria and the US
3) Charitable activities benefiting Bulgarian communities

The Membership Criteria are:
1) Professional background
2) Links with the financial industry
3) Links with Bulgaria

Command of Bulgarian language in not a prerequisite for membership, however both Bulgarian and English languages are used in communications.
