History:
I started this in 2001 after I departed Lucent as a way to keep a circle of colleagues in touch with one another. In 2003 I migrated this to Yahoo. News of the group passed by word of mouth to a much wider community that now includes more than 850 industry veterans from many telecom and networking companies - service providers as well as equipment and communications software vendors.

Membership:
Members come from every state in the USA, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Postings:
The site works as a forum. Content is provided by members as “postings”. I serve as moderator and may review all postings to insure that the site is used for valid purposes. I maintain final editorial approval and reserve the right to reject inappropriate postings.
