SIG-Sponsored Event at 2007 ASI Conference   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #272 of 388 |
Dear Business SIG Members,

Next year's ASI National Conference is going to include SIG-sponsored
presentations. We can do this at any level we choose (see below). Please respond
to
this note with ideas for business-related topics. I will work on organizing a
presentation if we can come up with a topic and a presenter.

Martha Malnor
Business SIG Chairman

From Carolyn Weaver, ASI Annual Meeting Planner:

"I would like to invite all SIGS to sponsor a session in their field of
interest at the 2007 Annual Conference in Philadelphia. The sponsored
session can be a workshop (3 or 6 hours in length); a breakout session (90
minutes), a plenary session (1 hour), or a poster presentation. The format
can involve one or two presenters, a panel, or hands-on exercises, and
presenters may be either SIG members or outside speakers invited by the SIG.
The session may also include a SIG business meeting if you wish, but should
focus primarily on a subject-related presentation of interest to conference
registrants."
