Brilliant news!
The sooner we get this car on our roads, the sooner the petrol & gas price
hikes will most certainly slow down.

I was on MDI's website the other day, and they have updated it. They have announced the first pilot lot of the OneCATs will be released in France at the end of 2008! That is only 4 months away! Commercial sales of the OneCATs will start in 2009. Once these OneCATs are released to the public, I'm sure an English speaking car magazine will be testing them to see if the cars have a 106 MPG rating, and what their performances are. To read the site announcement, go to WWW.MDI.LU, click on the Brithish flag, and under products, click on OneCATs. At the OneCAT page, click on the "Read more" link on the page, and the announcement is in the Paragraph called "Worldwide Preview".
Hello :-)
I've seen your channel on Youtube and that's where I saw this group.
I subscribed to the channel and look forward to more videos with
updates from MDI.

Go to WWW.ZEROPOLLUTIONMOTORS.COM to see an American car company bringing out an air car in 2010. When you take into account the fact that the engine is lubricated by one quart of vegetable oil, and that the preheater can run on 100% ethanol, you'll agree that the car requires NO petroleum products, foreign or domestic! Total independence from foreign oil. I can't wait to sign up next year on the waiting list. As for buses, go to WWW.MDI.LU and in the "products" section, click on MULTICATs.

The URL for the French company that makes the air motors, and (hopefully) the air car to be sold in Europe next year, is WWW.MDI.LU . Click on the British flag, and the site turns into english. Let us know what you find out!
Hello :-)
I'm new here.
2010??? Oh no! I'll be quite happy to go and get one in France, if it
needs to be and dispose of my Renault Kangoo.

Hello Everyone :-)
I've recently joined this group to find out a bit more about the
CatCar and when it will be coming to the UK, since I live in London.
Petrol prices are rising, which is not entirely a bad thing but I do
need my car to get around, go to work and live an independent life
(I'm disabled, on sticks and wheelchair), and there seem to be not a
lot of options out there.
How does one get in touch with the manufacturers of the CATcar in
France, or UK (if there's anyone available?)
Thank you
Rosanella
:-)
Hello,
Catvolution will remain as the old fan-based website(s) that
support MDI's air cars by providing up-to-date information and videos.
Zevolution.com is meant for the building of a MDI factory (or more)
for the Canadian market. Zevolution is building a team of people to
help make this happen. Persons with business or communications
experience are needed at this phase.
Thanks.
If not for my youngest son's subscription to a science magazine I
would not have heard about this C.A.T technology and am very surprised
that there are not more people and sites promoting this as it can SAVE
OUR WORLD/PLANET we should all be doing everything in our power to get
our members of parliment or government officials to get these C.A.E
cars/trucks/buses on the roads!!!
I have been looking into this and it appears to be just another rumor.
I searched the Tata Motors website for press releases, and contacted
Tata Motors and they did not confirm it.
It's still possible, just not confirmed by Tata.

Hello Shelly;
I live in SE Georgia, and would love if there were to be a factory in Georgia. All I've heard of is the ZPM factory in New Paltz, NY. What there is being built, is an ethanol plant just west of Brunswick, GA. Since the air car does not use an internal combustion engine, it can be run off of 100% ethanol. At 106 MPG, I figure I can commute to work for an entire year on three 55 gallon drums of ethanol. Depending on the delivery costs, my wife and I will drive up to NY, and I'll drive my air car back home (on one tank of gas!)
I was so glad to find this group. I tell everyone I see - strangers in
groceries to cousins - about the air car. I've been giving them the
Zero Pollution website but now I've added the youtube link to my list.
I'm beyond excited about this car! My 13 year old son even told some
online gaming friends about it just today! The whole family is excited.
A question, though. It seems to me, late one night when I was REALLY
sleepy, I read something about a possible factory in Georgia (US). Was
I dreaming? Has anyone else heard, read, etc about that possibility? I
haven't found that paticular item again...
It doesn't really matter, as I'm just happy we'll be able to get one!

Once videos of air cars driving around in cities, and hyways, at hyway speeds, people will understand that these cars exist NOW, and can get 100+ MPG gas mileage! The fact that the cars can be run without any petroleum at all, will make them the perfect car to end our dependence on foreign oil!!
It seems that Tata Motors is planning to have 6000 air cars on the
road for August 2009.
It may be a person's assumption that has snowballed, but I will try to
confirm this true/false ASAP.
:-)
Right on the money Lamar.
Just to let you guys know, MDI and ZPM are supposed to have "new"
websites coming relatively soon. They will look like they were made
in 2004/2005, but will have all the good 2008 information. lol
Try and be as supportive as you can.
Thanks.

Hello everyone!
I'm a new member here. I was just on Zero Pollution Motor's
website WWW.ZEROPOLLUTIONMOTORS.US , and noticed that the date for
joining the list of customers to buy the US version of the air car has
been moved from "early 2008" to "early 2009". My best guess is that as
MDI makes changes to their prototype, ZPM wants a finished product to
make the US road-ready version in 2010. I hope that the $17,800 price
holds, as the Chevy Volt's estimated price is now $40,000. This car
will be the only car that can be run with NO petroleum products, ever!
Because it is not an internal combustion engine, the preheater unit can
be run on 100% ethanol. The engine lubrication is 1 quart of vegetable
oil. The world needs this car now! I'll just have to wait until 2010
to buy my ZPM air car.

wow... that is an excellent idea. Vancouver is hosting the 2010
Olympics as well and it would be great to do the same thing.
grats man, u totally called that one. 8-)

I would really like to know how we can get these cars in South Africa
Sooner than 2010.
Our Country will be hosting the 2010 Soccer World Cup, and having
"Green" vehicles to transport soccer fans around would be a great way
to market the oneCATs and CityCats.
With fuel prices soaring and no sign of it decreasing, is there no way
of getting these cars out sooner? Then there realy would be a revolution!!
Excited for the Launch!!
It's a great problem to have. Instead of one type of product
vehicle, they have 3 seperate winning vehicles.
I signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement and can't comment further on it,
but it was absolutely amazing... a real life-changing trip.
My original plan was to verify the validity of MDI.lu and then
independantly create a new business website promoting all vehicles
that can travel with zero pollution/emissions (not including the
pollution to charge the vehicles). There's Tesla, Zenn, Zap, and
many others that I would help promote.
Problem is that MDI was so great, I want to focus 100% on them.
Oh well, I am taking the whole summer off to see what I can do for
them and start to recoup all the $$$ I spent in the last 6 months
(please don't ask... it was a LOT, but money very well
spent/invested).

where can I buy one???
I would really like to have one
are they in the U.S. yet? if not, are there any plans on importing
them or do I have to built one myself???

Hi and welcome. Yup, it's the real deal. I'll be visiting the factory
in France in 2 weeks to get more information and video right from the
source and without any filters.
I (try to) run the fan sites, the youtube channel, this group, the blog,
planning for future sites, etc etc in my part-time, although there are
others helping out with translating onto other languages and emailing me
articles that they find. I'm taking june off so I can update the sites
after my trip/vacation.
Well stay tuned as I'll be updating this a lot once this week is done
and keep watching for updates on the "catvolution" YouTube channel.

Hello,
I just learned about the "Air Car" on a mailing list I'm on - it
sounds really cool!
However, this group seems pretty dead. Isn't it exciting? A car that
can run on air? Or is this just a hoax?
See ya,
James
The Auto Show may be finished, but the work to update the CATvolution websites has only begun. So much new information came out regarding the Air car / Compressed Air Vehicles, that almost all the information on the internet is outdated, a tad inaccurate or slightly misleading.
This is mostly due to the previous persons responsible for the web presences for MDI and the current theaircar dot com website that has nothing to do with mdi, but still has top billing on google because it has had top billing for 8 years and it won't go away anytime soon.
Yup, updating all the info AND knocking off theaircar dot com off of its top perch will be a tough task, but i'm definitely gonna try.
