integration provider. We have a Technical Program Manager opportunity available
in Pleasanton CA.

Job Title: Technical Program Manager
Overall Experience: 10+ Yrs.
Work Location: CA-Pleasanton-4460 Hacienda Drive, Bldg D-94588(Alameda)
Duration: 1 year contract to hire – Conversion within 12 month
Salary Rate Range: DOE $65-70
Regular Hours: 40 / Week
Consulting experience is preferred.
Healthcare industry technology/standards and emergent technologies preferred.
Prior experience in Epic suite of applications is preferred.
Cache DBMS is a big plus.
Methodology or training certifications in technology and/or Project Management
are preferred.
Experience working in Matrix environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Project Manager manages a set of projects (including applications,
application infrastructure and special initiatives) for a suite of applications
as part of implementing an enterprise wide suite of applications.
This includes:
• Resource allocation
• Tracking project plans and timelines
• Preparing environment strategy for development & testing
• Risk and issue management
• Status reporting
• Transitioning to a steady-state support model

• Collaborate with a team of Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, vendors,
business users, various IT teams, and IT leadership to effectively deliver
projects/initiatives.
• Must be capable of organizing and working with large cross-functional teams:
• Establish effective working relationships with vendors, their technical
representatives, and a wide range of internal teams.

• Help build relationships among the various groups to establish an engagement
framework that meets the specific needs of each project.
• Must contribute to the planning and support of enterprise-wide IT strategies,
and must formulate tactical responses that fit into the strategic framework.

• Responsible for publishing and maintaining roadmaps that manage changes and
upgrades for various system components, both at infrastructure and application
level.
• Other duties include:
• Establish and refine processes for effective delivery of services and
operational readiness; handling knowledge management and documentation for their
projects.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in computer sciences, business,
and/or healthcare services experience.
• Six years of proven IT experience, including exposure to all aspects of SDLC
and Project Management.
• Experience with two of the following technical realms: application
architecture/ business continuity planning/monitoring/web
applications/reporting/databases, database performance/benchmarking, database
backup & recovery.
• Must have technical competency in understanding elements of a
system/application architecture, conceptual understanding of various components.
• Must be able to understand the technical what and why of a problem and
solution.
• Must be able to engage both ends (business/engineering) of the solution
spectrum
• Must have excellent problem resolution and data analysis skills
• Must know concepts around web servers, database & application servers,
firewalls, single sign on, authentication mechanisms, plug-ins. This is not a
hands on role, but can be expected to login to check logs, status of various
monitors.
• Must be able to simultaneously manage two or more IT projects and support a
number of customers/internal clients
• Must be able to present complex data/concepts in a simplified, understandable,
and meaningful way for reporting to upper management
• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills, including effective
meeting management; prepare and present (PowerPoint/Visio); documentation
templates for various procedures when needed.
• Must be open to flexible work schedule to remain in-step with project and
organizational needs as well as to provide triage support for a 7x 24x365
environment
• This position requires traveling up to 25%.

• Consulting experience is preferred.
