Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in computer sciences, business,
and/or healthcare services experience.
• Six years of proven IT experience, including exposure to all aspects of SDLC
and Project Management.
• Experience with two of the following technical realms: application
architecture/ business continuity planning/monitoring/web
applications/reporting/databases, database performance/benchmarking, database
backup & recovery.
• Must have technical competency in understanding elements of a
system/application architecture, conceptual understanding of various components.
• Must be able to understand the technical what and why of a problem and
solution.
• Must be able to engage both ends (business/engineering) of the solution
spectrum
• Must have excellent problem resolution and data analysis skills
• Must know concepts around web servers, database & application servers,
firewalls, single sign on, authentication mechanisms, plug-ins. This is not a
hands on role, but can be expected to login to check logs, status of various
monitors.
• Must be able to simultaneously manage two or more IT projects and support a
number of customers/internal clients
• Must be able to present complex data/concepts in a simplified, understandable,
and meaningful way for reporting to upper management
• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills, including effective
meeting management; prepare and present (PowerPoint/Visio); documentation
templates for various procedures when needed.
• Must be open to flexible work schedule to remain in-step with project and
organizational needs as well as to provide triage support for a 7x 24x365
environment
• This position requires traveling up to 25%.

• Consulting experience is preferred.
• Healthcare industry technology/standards and emergent technologies preferred.
• Prior experience in Epic suite of applications is preferred.
• Cache DBMS is a big plus.
• Methodology or training certifications in technology and/or Project Management
are preferred.
• Experience working in Matrix environment preferred.

SUMMARY:

Seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Development
team to enhance and support web applications (VoyagerTrack and
webTAMS).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enhancement and Maintenance of the VoyagerTrack and webTAMS
applications product features.
• Analysis of business requirements and existing code supporting the
development of the product functional specifications working with
business analysts and the customers
• Provide estimates for the development efforts based on high level
requirements.
• Develop detailed design specifications based on high level designs
following defined development design guidelines and patterns
• Coding and unit testing of the changes in the development
environments
• Work with release management and other developers to ensure that
the changes are successfully included in the build to be released to
QA.
• Fix issues reported by QA or UAT
• Analysis and troubleshooting of operation errors reported by
customers and quickly resolve them.
• Keep abreast of the current technologies and technological
trends.  Ability to learn and prototype new technologies, and
recommend their use in the company products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.  Master's
degree a plus.
• Minimum 7 years in large scale Web application development using
the following technologies: DHTML, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET, VB
Script, C++/VB/C# COM and .Net components
• 7 years of combined experience using the following development
tools: Visual Studio 6.0 (C++, VB), 2003, and 2005-2008 (C# or
VB.Net)
• 5-7 years experience with HTTP communication protocol features and
limitations
• 5-7 years experience with object oriented design techniques,
patterns and multi-tier component-based architecture
• 5-7 years experience with RDBMS databases (preferably Oracle),
Data modeling, and SQL
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and applications:
AJAX, Win32 Threads and Synchronization Objects, Web services, Smart
Forms, WCF, WF
• Work experience with StarTeam or similar tools for Source code
management and bug tracking; software modeling tools such as MS Visio
• Comfortable developing new components using different APIs and Web
services and integrating with existing product components on the MS
Windows platforms (Windows 2000, 2003, etc.)
• Ability to understand complex business processes and systems used
in the commercial transportation industry, supply chain management
logistics, or similar field is a plus.
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
• Demonstrated experience providing support to production and
diagnosing production issues is a plus.
• Ability to provide support during off hours (on-call), on an as
needed basis.
• Previous experience working with onsite and offshore software
development teams a plus.
