SWAT is an extension of Job Connections. Job Connections is an outreach of Community Presbyterian Church (CPC) in Danville, California.

By joining SWAT you acknowledge membership on a SWAT team is voluntary and you hold harmless the Community Presbyterian Church of Danville, CPC Job Connections, and its affiliates as well as its volunteers for any issues that may arise as a result of your participation. You also agree you are responsible for your own conduct while participating in group or individual activities and any issues or disputes that may arise are to be dealt with on an individual basis. We urge you to communicate any difficulties you may be having with regard to CPC SWAT team activities with any one of the SWAT core team members (below) but cannot guarantee resolution to your satisfaction. CPC SWAT teams cannot guarantee a favorable outcome with regard to your job/career search, but welcome suggestions as to how the group can better serve the job seeking community.

CHARTER
Support and encourage people during a job search. Teams hold members accountable for a job search and provide support during a stressful time period.

OBJECTIVE
Help members conduct more effective job searches and build relationships which will have a life beyond unemployment. Accelerate team member's job searches and minimize the time between jobs.

OVERVIEW
SWAT Teams meet at various locations, at various times throughout the Greater Bay Area. A team consists of 5-9 members. Teams can be formed by any Job Connections member; There are specific requirements,prerequisites, commitment and ground rules recommended for a success team.

To join a SWAT team, you have to be a Job Connections member. To view the guidelines, you have to have been accepted for SWAT Team membership. Guidelines can be found under the Files section on the main menu.
