Welcome to the CSX Boston Line informational email list! CSX's Boston Line is comprised of several subdivisions; mainly the Boston, Berkshire, and Castleton. On most days, 15-25 trains can be seen, the majority of those being intermodal.

CSX uses GE's Evolution Series units to haul tonnage over Washington Hill. However, an occasional EMD can be seen. Amtrak, MBCR, Providence Worcester, Connecticut Southern and Housatonic Railroad trains can also be seen on the B&A.
