California High Speed Rail (San Francisco to Los Angeles)
Contract to be awarded: June 2013. If not legally stopped in court, property acquisition, utility relocation and initial construction begins in Autumn 2013 from Ave. 17 NE of Madera to American Ave. south end of Fresno in Autumn 2013. Heavy construction in 2014. Construction from Madera to north of Bakersfield should be completed by March 31, 2017. If given further funding, Bakersfield (or through) to San Fernando Valley could be done by 2023, then ridership must be stable. System has to run without taxpayer subsidies. San Francisco to Los Angeles fully completed 2028. Ridership 2029.
Future: Merced to Sacramento. Irvine to San Diego.

XpressWest (Victorville to Las Vegas):
Still waiting for federal loan from Federal Railroad Administration. If construction begins on Phase 1 in later 2013, service could begin by 2019. Palmdale route (Phase 2): Environmental Study Process will be completed in 2014. Future: Palmdale to Victorville, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver.

Vegas X Train (Fullerton to Las Vegas)
Adults-only Vegas Party Train. About a 5-hour trip. Signed an agreement with Union Pacific to use their tracks. Need to refurbish 16 rail cars. Depot needs to be built in Las Vegas. Hope to begins service in first quarter of 2014. $99 one way. Departs Fullerton: Thurs. & Fri. 12:00pm. Departs Las Vegas: Sun. & Mon. 1:00pm, 5:00pm.

ARTIC - Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center began construction September 18, 2012. Completion: November 2014.

Transbay Transit Center - In 2013, construction begins on the below grade structure and bus ramps. Completion: 2017.
