The Canada Southern Railway. At one time, part of the great New York Central System, handed down through the Penn Central era, in turn passed down into Conrail until finally being sold to Canadian National & Canadian Pacific in 1985. Events since then have doomed this once important rail line.
For most of the 20th century, this railroad was a fast double track mainline through Southern Ontario that today is only a mere shadow of its former glory.
Hopefully through this list, anyone with just a passing interest right up to those with a serious passion for this line can exchange thoughts, memories and information, making sure that the Canada Southern Railway, in what ever form the future holds for it, will not be forgotten.
