The Careers In Transition group was founded in 1986 by members of Christ Church in Short Hills, New Jersey. Our mission is to provide support to professionals during times of career transition, and guidance after they land. It meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 8:30 AM at the school building for Christ Church, 66 Highland Ave,Short Hills New Jersey. Once you are at the church walk up the hill on the left to the school building. The address of the school building is 30 East Lane. Using MapQuest is usually best for directions.
We formed this Yahoo Group as our main mode of communication to support our mission. All members are invited to attend once they attend at least one meeting in person. Since we believe in the power of face to face networking, joining the Yahoo Group is not required to attend any meetings, or to reach out to members. Members are free to leave the group at any time. If they change their minds they are also free to request readmission.
All members of the Yahoo Group are encouraged to post and share the following:
• Job leads
• Job search articles, and events
• Requests for assistance
• Relevant news that is valuable to those in transition
Careers in Transition strictly forbids the following postings:

Membership in Careers in Transition is free. This includes attending meetings, joining the Yahoo Group, or the LinkedIn Group. Christ Church in Short Hills provides space to meet, and coffee for in person attendees.
