The Indian Merchant's Chamber with the support of its Environment & Energy
expert Committee will host its second Mega

Conference "RuDiCON 2012" cum Exhibition on 19 & 20 January 2012 at IMC. The
theme of the two days programme is centre

around the vision to "Make Maharashtra Power surplus in the next 5years and
Electrify 60,000 villages of India".
The prime objective of the summit is to arrive at and also promote cost
effective solutions to meet the challenge of

growing power deficit especially in the rural economy. The focus will be on
non-conventional energy resources involving

innovative green & clean energy technologies for rural energy security. In our
view, only such an approach can lead to

sustainable development of the country.
The conference is structured around four themes- Technology, Delivery of
Business Models,Financing and Policy Framework.

The program will consist of presentations, panel discussions and working group
sessions with ample time provided for

discussions. The event will have eminent speakers representing key ministries
both at Centre and States, private

sector,technology institutes, financing institutions including multi laterals
and Community Based Organizations (CBOs).
While the conference aims at exchanging ideas on the subject and recognizing
the potential of clean energy technologies

and their applicability, an Exhibition will be run in parallel to provide a
platform to showcase the latest

technology/equipments and posters related to distributed clean power generation
not only from India but also from abroad.
