Solar, Wind and even Geothermal is getting cheaper and may even cheaper
than coal and gas burning. If you adding the social cost of pollution,
then it is a lot cheaper and healthier.
There are many Algal fuel companies roaming the internet.
supposedly should have Algal Diesel from a Riverside company. Algal
gasoline from a San Diego company. Algal ethanol, butanol, jet fuel
all are alive some places. But we still could not see mass production or
any bio fuel stations to replace the fossil fuel stations.
Why they have to wait for the carbon tax kicks in to act, we have algal
fuels to replace some fossil fuel by now. And easy legislation to force
auto makers to make EV along side their ICE version. Within 2 years, we
shall have EV in every cites. If you looked at all
the concept compact EV, they are almost identical. Look very cute, or
a metal box. Not all drivers are yuppies. Actually if car maker could
just convert our daily vehicles to electric, I believe a lot of drivers
will buy, and what is yuppi or stylish? EV is just another transporation
vehicles. Just roll out EV version of the popular car models for now.
We can dig into those fancy EV later on when they become "available".
Mini-EV, Smart-EV, RAV-4-EV, bring them on.....

All such Vehicles have on board Oxygen [O2] Exhaust Sensors.
These O2 Sensors are set up to detect a level of polluting Exhaust
Emissions that would
