Dear Mr.Chetan,

In your case it is cash. In my case I have issued a house loan amount cheque
for Rs.12,351 where as they have credited only Rs.351 to my loan and they have
sent letter asking me to pay Rs.12,000/- with penal interest.

It is only after fighting with bank only credited the amount to my housing
loan a/c.

immediately rushed to HDFC Bank at 3.35 p.m. with customer copy of Cash
Deposit slip. They realised that it was mistake while entering data. The
same was rectified.

I wonder how can they make such a big mistake of '0'.
