Dear Jay,
Thanks for your time again.
Yes I agree ...... it would take lot of my time and effort..... and i think it
is not worth going to police.
More over i'm constructing my own house and would be moving in some time in MAY.
So i would just hold on for some more time and move on.....
Thanks a lot sir... for your help.
Regards
Hashem

....please advice
Hashem,I do not see any criminal issue here. Except, if he is physically
preventing you or cutting electricity etc. Otherwise, This is entirely based on
agreement and civil matter. I very much doubt if Police will entertain this
case. Also, You think it over what you want to achieve by persuing this. You need
LOT of energy and LOT of time. Please decide if this is worthwhile.ThanksJay---

about your problems. Chennai has become a tenant's nightmare. It is a owner's
market now. They have started placing exhobident demands, hiking the rents at
will and generally behaving abnoxiously.Having said that, Let me add my comments
to your issues.//// --- In

Perhaps you already know that. Registration is not required if the lease is upto

cleaning items are payable only if the agreement mentions the maintenance of

only limited right of use for this common area. Therefore, He is free to rent it
out for car parking if this is not hampering your access to your dwelling. He

YOu can't claim a right for parking space. If he is acting tough, You don't have
to vacate. Please ask him to obtain an eviction order.ThanksJay > > > > > >
