It's now less than 24 hours before the opening of the RPTC. It's bad enough that
my bus doesn't go into the center. As of noon on Monday, the place where my
stops is not marked, we don't get the information signs that the bays have and
we don't get any shelter or a place to sit down, unless we can wait inside the
People Mover Station. Plymouth riders don't even get that. Waiting inside the
center and then walking out to the stops in time to catch your bus sounds like a
good way to either miss your bus or find yourself exposed to bad weather longer
than you need to. Compared to the where the other bus bays are, these stops are
a long walk from the center.
One solution: Times Square (street) runs one way. I think it would take one lane
running in the opposite direction would create room for those buses that will
now stop outside and maybe room for one or two more stops. Widen Times Square if
you need to.
