Managing Steel bar inventory

Hi,

Does anyone have a solution on how to handle inventory of steel bars of different lengths?

Looking for best practices, etc.

I.E. We buy steel bars w/a UOM of EA but Stock/consume in FT. When cutting how is the drop handled?

Any and all suggestion welcomed.
