Expanded Careers is geared primarily toward career-serious people of all generations. We list events, workshops and classes on the Web and in Northern California that help people plan and fulfill their career paths, gain career skills and network with Expanded Career members and others.

Each member must commit to post at least one article, link, discussion question, discussion input, or job posting each year. To spread the postings throughout the year, posting in the month of one's birthday is recommended.

People from other regions are welcome to join. Post questions and suggest discussion topics such as supervision, budgeting, strategic planning, hiring, firing, getting promoted, broadening responsibilities, and more. Reply to postings by others. Check out the files and URLs and upload career information that will interest others.
