The Florida Association of Security Companies (FASCO) welcomes you to our distinguished list of members who represent the interests of licensed private security agencies throughout Florida. Our goals are:

· To enhance professionalism within the industry
· To promote public safety
· To be a viable political voice representing the security industry
· To encourage responsible managerial practices among members

Over the past 3 years FASCO has been at the forefront of passing a number of Legislative bills for our industry. The 9mm Bill, Light Bill and enhanced penalty on assault on a S/O are all examples of our success. In addition we have worked with PIRSAC and the DOL to change the training curriculum for the D and G course to be more in line with post 911 requirements. Furthermore, we have been to Washington DC twice, meeting with Compact Council, DHS, DOJ, FBI on Legislation to allow Security agencies to have access to FBI Criminal Record checks as per the 911 commission recommendations.

Your support by joining FASCO and participating in the effort to professionalize Florida's Private Security Industry is greatly appreciated. We ARE the voice of private security companies in Florida and need your help with future legislation and industry ideas.

All FASCO Directors are non-paid volunteers and consist of B Agency Owners or Employees. We donate our time to maintain the FASCO website, travel to Legislative hearings and Committee meetings to support our industry and provide industry information to our membership. We receive no salary or reimbursement for expenses.
