Dear GPE-Alumni,
I hope you are doing well
these days and may be enjoy the Soccer World cup from wherever you are. I would
like to inform you that my time in the department of Prof. Seliger will end in
September this year. Therefore I have passed responsibility for the GPE
coordination to my colleague Mr. Carsten Reise (creise@..., phone
030 314 25041).
I would like to express
that it has been an honour to work for GPE and share time with those of you who
were studying during my time as coordinator. I hope that you stay in contact with
each other to develop a strong community and with our programme from time to
time in the future. One chance would be the GPE-Summer Celebration 2006, to
which you are cordially invited by Professor Seliger and the GPE team. So
please see the details in the e-mail below and send an e-mail to info@....
At least I would like to
ask the GPE-Alumni of the GPE-groups 1998 and 1999 to forward the invitation to
their yahoo-groups as well. Although time is short I would appreciate if we
have a big party with former and current GPE-Students.

Students,
Prof. Seliger and the GPE Team , would sincerely like to invite you to our
GPE Summer Celebration 2006.
We
are welcoming Students of the Intake of 2003 to join the ceremonial act of
handing over their master certificates, we are looking forward to celebrate
with Students of the Intake of 2005 the end of this semester and we are also
very kindly welcoming all Alumni to this meeting, as well as all friends and
family members.
We
start at 5 o’clock p.m. on Saturday the 15th July, 2006 at the
Zollpackhof.
The

Being
one of Berlin’ s most traditional restaurants with a history of over 300
years, the Zollpackhof situated at the north bank of the Spree River with a
terrace and its 130 year old chestnut tree as well as its
“Biergarten”, which allows a fantastic view on the German Chancellorship
as well as the new Main Railway Station “Lehrter
Bahnhof”. We hope this will be for all of us an experience of special
character. Another special feature of this restaurant is its direct access to
the river boardwalk towards

the special program there will be a gourmet barbecue with vegetable
specialities and soft drinks offered.
Please, let us know one week before
the 15th July the number of additional guests you may attend with to
this event, thus we can plan this day more effectively.
