THIS FORUM CAN BE USED TO ORGANIZE AND COORDINATE THE OPPOSITION TO TWO CORPORATE PRACTICES THAT ARE DESTROYING THE LIVES & CAREERS OF US WORKERS WHILE ENRICHING CORPORATE OWNERS:

I. THE IMPORTATION OF CHEAP LABOR VIA H-1B, H-2B, J1, L1, AND OTHER TYPES OF VISAS.

II. THE EXPORTATION OF US JOBS TO 3RD WORLD COUNTRIES THAT PROVIDE CORPORATIONS WITH CHEAP LABOR MARKETS.

Some of the means available to combat these insidious practices:

1) Work with state and federal lawmakers to eliminate work visas and to ban the offshoring of jobs.

2) Make corporate offenders pay by creating the legal precedents with which replaced workers can seek compensation.

3) Inform the public by providing news reports, writing letters to the editor, distributing flyers, etc.

4) Join forces with labor unions.

5) Organize boycotts and demonstrations against offending companys.

6) Provide tips to law enforcement about kickbacks and bribes involved in the placement of visa workers and in offshoring contracts.

7) Expose visa fraud, scams, and phony education and experience claims by companys that traffic in visa workers.

8) Publish outsourcing project failures.

9) Promote legal self representation (pro se litigation) in order to bring legal pressure at low cost.

10) Political action.
