Just one month until the RV Heritage Parade and Summer Streets Festival!  Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 8.  Rainier Ave will be open to pedestrians from Orcas to Alaska Sts.  The parade is 11-12 followed by the festival from 12-3.

Rainier Ave. will be sectioned off for different activities.  Beginning in Hillman City and traveling north the sections will be: Fitness St, Health & Beauty St., Art St, Sustainable St, Music St and Restaurant Row will be in Columbia City.  Want to participate in one of these activities?  Let me know ASAP! mail@...

And--don't forget the parade--we will have some wonderful entrants this year--and would love to make it even better than last year!  If you want to join the fun: See our website's home page for parade application and contract  Also--parade entrants can even "strut their stuff" after the parade!  We are organizing time and locations for mini "workshops" for parade demonstrations.  It will be a good opportunity to teach festival goers how to drum, drill, dance, sing, whatever--with the hope of adding new people to your groups.  If you are interested in running a workshop contact me ASAP: mail@...
