One common reason for this is that the HC stack was not compacted before
opening it in Rev. You need to compact twice in a row and then
immediately close the stack in HC. Then try opening it in Rev.
If that doesn't work, the reason is almost always an image or sound
resource that Rev can't import from the resource fork. In those
instances, I use various OS 9 utilities to move the sounds and/or images
out of the HC stack into independent files, and then I delete the
resources entirely from the HC stack. Compact twice and close the stack.
With the resources removed, I have always had success in opening the
stack in Revolution.
