Since my experience is the opposite, that it was much easier
to migrate to Revolution than to Supercard, it is good
that there are two choices, so that more people are helped
by at least one of the systems.
I think Supercard might have made my migration easier if
there had been a good migration manual, describing which
Hypercard does not work and how to translate its functionality
to Supercard. Or even better, a tool which checks a stack
and marks what needs conversion. Maybe there are such guides
and tools, but if so why were they not included in the
Supercard delivery?
I agree that Revolution has its crincs, but it works,
and I never got my stack working with Supercard.
