ICAN-NG is the online forum for the members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and restricted to ICAN Members. The forum is global and is an avenue for members to freely discuss professional issues, and exchange ideas on related issues affecting ICAN members. ICAN-NG is not controlled by ICAN neither was it set up by the ICAN Council, but operated by ICAN Members for ICAN Members worldwide. In order to subscribe you need to provide your ICAN membership details.

OBJECTIVES OF ICAN-NG FORUM:

1. To provide a forum for informing and discussing issues that affect members of ICAN, and the issues could be global, African and may be Nigerian in particular.

2. To provide a means where members of ICAN voice their opinions about happenings at the Institute, commend and comment on activities that ICAN is involved with or proffer solutions to issues of concern to members.

3. Serves as the Global forum of sharing ideas that are of benefit to the general public and chartered accountants in particular and provide awareness on issues affecting them in general.

4. Avenue for members’ feedbacks and serve as a link to communicating issues and ideas to the institute informally or as members so determine.

5. To serve as information medium for chartered accountants and to assist them to operate effectively as global players as part of the new international workforce.

6. Provide information on opportunities existing for chartered accountants in Nigeria or other jurisdictions outside of Nigeria.

7. Forum to have fellow chartered accountants all over the globe offer insights to fellow members in various countries and also serves as the unofficial voice of Nigerian Chartered Accountants in cyberspace
