Dear fellow IPNE exhibitors:
We have 5 definite exhibitors:
Muddy River Press, Clint Richmond, 2 non-fiction/travel titles
Privacy Journal, Robert Smith, 2 non-fiction/mixed
Atlantic Path Publishing, Mary Ellen Lepionka, 2 non-fiction/writing
Dog Star Press, Alfred DePew, 1 non-fiction/writing
Greene Bark Press Inc., Thomas J. Greene, children's books
We will be a bit cramped at one table. If we get any more exhibitors we will
think about a second table. Tables are $355 each. Each publisher pays for an
equal linear share of the table (with 5 it yields: 1 foot wide by 2 feet deep).
You can bring as many titles as will reasonably and attractively fit.
This is a great way to get to know other small presses and learn about the
industry, so take advantage. If this is your first time, think about developing
a 1-page catalog/information sheet about your title(s) including wholesale
pricing and distribution. A book display stand is also useful (there are also
vendors there for those).
Please note that everyone will be staffing the table. The times are:
Oct. 9, Saturday, 9:30 am-4:30 pm
Oct. 10, Sunday, 10 am-3 pm
Location: World Trade Center, Boston, MA
The hall is also open early on Sat. and on Fri. afternoon for set-up.
Although you can just bring in your stuff when you arrive. Saturday
is the busier day
so you should come then if possible even if you are not staffing the booth.
There is a lot to see in any case.
There is also an opportunity for us meet informally as a group from 4:45
pm-5:45 pm, when NEBA members hold their meeting. This worked last year. Last
year, there was also a free reception (cash bar) afterwards. We can also think
about going out to dinner to if we like. This will all be discussed in
conjunction with the larger IPNE group.
As we approach the date, there will be a follow-up email to divvy up the
shifts. And another one to order badges ($10 ea. in addition) and specify the
names. We will order at least 1 for each publisher.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Clint Richmond
