Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Invention Works,
www.theinventionworks.org is close to finishing up their 501c3 process. Cross
your fingers for us. It has taken more than a year to get this done. We have our
non profit status in Washington State, we are negotiating our application with
the IRS now. I feel we are very close to getting approval soon.

We are also close to getting our computer lab up and running. We have
computers, printers, scanners, plotters and some software in hand. We are
negotiating rent with the Twisp Works now.

We are working on developing a scholarship program now. We could use some solid
fund raising ideas.

We are preparing some classes. They should start in April.

The Invention Works is in need of some donations. We always need $. We need
more software, The computers are still running xp. ( a good solid operating
system) We would like to upgrade to win 7. That is a bit expencive. We would
like to aquire several seats of quick books pro, we would like to have some
mastercam programs ( at least one) It is a very expencive program. Auto cad is
also on our wish list. If anyone can donate a transferable copy, or some $ to
help us aquire them it would be greatly appreciated.
