Description
This group is to discuss Job Shop manufacturing and the application of the philosophy known as Lean to it. We also discuss related types of manufacturing such as Engineer to Order and Build to Order.
Some other groups that claim to discuss job shops try to define them as a much more complex form of manufacturing than they can be.
One area of interest is the application of Lean to the non-manufacturing functions of a company.
