We are gearing up for the annual conference taking place March 28-30
at the DoubleTree Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. Please check out the
following website for the tentative conference schedule and
registration forms: www.kai-rid.org. Please note that in order to
receive the group rate, hotel reservations must be made by February 25th.

The conference planning committee is seeking ambassadors that
are willing to pick-up/drop-off presenters at the Kansas City
International Airport. If you are interested in serving as an
ambassador, please contact the conference planning committee chair at
conference@....

We have extended our deadline for exhibitors to February 28th.
If you are interested in being an exhibitor or know of an individual
or organization that would be interested in securing a booth at the
conference, please have them contact our exhibit chair at
exhibitor@....

As you can imagine, hosting such an event requires generous
sponsorships and donations from the community at large. If you or your
organization would like to contribute to the annual conference, please
contact conference@... and we'll point you in the right
direction. At a minimum, sponsors are recognized in our program book.

Are you interested in helping to offset the cost of the
conference? Please consider interpreting a workshop or two. Are you a
student, currently enrolled in an interpreter training program? Would
you consider being a student representative? The Call for Interpreters
and the Call for Student Representatives can be found at www.kai-rid.org.

Look forward to seeing you at the conference! It promises to be
an awesome event!
