Bartering seems to be a lost art. With the economy the way it is and gas prices soaring, it is time to relearn the art of bartering. I have something you want that is just cluttering my garage, you have some items I want that is just cluttering your garage, lets trade! It's as simple as that!

Not only can you barter here, but you are also encouraged to post items for sale, wanted, referrals, assistance/services needed or offered in trade; requests for information; community discussion; etc.

Why do we require membership? Simply to keep out the junk mail. If you check out any popular yahoo group with a "public" forum, you'll notice a huge majority of the messages are SPAM. You get enough junk mail in your email box already. We want to keep the messages you receive from this group on topic. Another reason we require membership is to make sure all members are from the same general area to keep (primarily overseas) scam artists away.

We highly recommend completing your deals in person, and not shipping your items, so be sure to list what city you are in when placing your ads.
