Hi Allen,

The Railway and Locomotive Historical Society published a complete listing of
LV steam locomotives in Bulletin No. 126, April 1972. I have had my copy for
many years and do not know if this is still available. The listing also has
the early first generation diesels in it as well as the early gas & diesel
electric locomotives. Just a note, the first gas electric locomotive was on the
LV in 1925.

The Railway & Locomotive Historical Society Inc., was located at the Harvard
Business School, Boston MA 02163. However, members were from all over the
United States, Canada and Europe. I actually knew the than president of the
society, a Howard Greene, who was a friend of my father.
