PHILADELPHIA HOMICIDE CITY
Money Murder & Politics

NORTH PHILADELPHIA- - Two local filmmakers are gearing up for the release of their film looking at Philadelphia's increasing murder rate, and the possible causes...and solutions. This moving documentary is a serious look into the issues contributing to the struggle and poverty in America today. The film identifies, and offers the working premise that struggle and poverty are the most popular assumptions for the high murder rate in Philadelphia; both statistically and through experience. The movie communicates possible solutions as well as some of the details seen from the situation as it exists currently.
The movie delves into the life and culture of the rougher neighborhoods and communities in Philadelphia in hopes to shed light on the issues faced by the rest of the population. In production since September 2007, It is now believed that three faces in this movie are rumored to have been killed or have killed someone else. The film will make its Premier on  September 26 2008, in Philadelphia. This movie was filmed, produced, and edited by two young adult filmmakers, one a native of North Philadelphia, and the second a Temple student from Albuquerque New Mexico.

Philadelphians and non-Philadelphians alike will find the work of these two individuals in this informative documentary presentation impressive at least, and stirring, at best. Procedds of the film will be donated by the filmmakers to local charitable organizations.
