MAPI-Inc e-group membership is RESTRICTED TO MAPI MEMBERS ONLY. Please provide your full name when applying for membership.

PURPOSE
The primary reason for the MAPI-Inc e-group is to assist members in seeking help or information to aid them in an investigation or assistance in conducting business, and share techniques of best practices.

Although MAPI-Inc is not a chat site, it is a means for communicating information that is relevant to Missouri Association of Private Investigators members.

RECOMMENDED PRACTICES FOR POSTING
These include:
* Every message should contain the nature of the message in the subject line, such as: "Surveillance Needed in Columbia";
* Personal greetings or messages should be sent directly to the individual and not through MAPI-Inc;
* Responses should be directed to the group as a whole (Reply All) unless the poster requests to be contacted privately;
* Insert a full signature line on all postings to include name, company name and contact information;
* COURTESY AND RESPECT WHEN RESPONDING TO ALL POSTINGS.

PROHIBITED PRACTICES
These include:
* Requests for unlawful or "questionable" services. These are defined as information about a person or entity that cannot, in all probability, be accomplished within applicable laws;
* Use of inflammatory or derogatory language;
* Using this e-group to address disputes with or criticize a member, a non-member, Missouri Board of Private Investigator Examiners, or MAPI;
* Political, religious or philosophical discussions;
* Disseminating messages from, or on behalf of, those that have been removed from the e-group;
* Forwarding or publishing any messages without the author's permission.

VIOLATIONS
A member of this e-group who violates these rules and regulations may be immediately suspended from the e-group for a period of 30 days. If an additional violation occurs, the member will be suspended for 60 days. If a third violation occurs, the member will be permanently blocked from the MAPI-Inc e-group.
