Job Description
The Online Marketing Manager provides strategic leadership of online marketing including paid search and display advertising, purchased leads, e-mail marketing, landing pages, and online lead to sale conversion.
He/she serves as an expert on best practices for online marketing strategies and analytics while working with internal and external partners to maximize online sales.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Paid search advertising: manage search agency relationship, oversee ad copy creation, guide keyword expansion, drive testing and optimization, track performance
- Display advertising and email: manage interactive agency, lead creative development, create test schema (creative, offers, formats, landing pages, etc.), track performance
- Online media: work closely with media agency on planning and optimization
- Reporting & analysis: provide weekly reports on performance; analyze data, present findings to management and make recommendations for future tests, campaigns, efficiency improvements, and media optimization
- Ensure all campaigns/tactics are trackable
- Plan and optimize to achieve click-through rate, conversion rate, cost per sale, and sales volume targets
Job Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of marketing experience, at least three of which are in online marketing (paid search, display advertising, and email)
