What's cheesy is you're paying for only 2 of the 5 applications in iLife.
I was successful in migrating these apps from an older machine.

This is correct. iDVD and iWeb are not listed in the software that is included on a Mac's specifications on apple.com.However, you can purchase the iLife '11 DVD for $49 or less ($39 via amazon.com) and have iDVD and iWeb if you don't have a copy available via another Mac.The statement on the iLife '11 page on the store.apple.com http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC623Z/A/iLife-11reads: "Note: iDVD and iWeb are included in the iLife '11 single-user and family pack box, but they are not included on new Mac computers."MikeOn Jan 23, 2012, at 4:39 PM, Chuck Roast wrote:Just a heads up out there...Purchased a 15" MacBook Pro from Macmall in December. Spent an hour with them on the phone in the hope that maybe they might send me a dvd or something... but no luck. I was given instructions on how to "migrate" these applications from an existing machine to the MacBook....mdb
