Ron, you may be able to have a file that big, but you certainly can't open anything bigger than 4GB in a 32bit OS....

Actually, it is HFS that has the 2 gigabyte file size limit. HFS Plus expanded this to 2^63, which is actually well over 2 terabytes, it's more like millions...
Isn't it still true that you are still limited at the absolute at 4GB in the 32bit OS? I think all this below has to do with how the disk can access/store it...
