This is for every State and Country who have an interest in what is now know as Manufactured Housing. Everyone should know what they are getting into when buying a Manufactured Home, which used to be called a Mobilehome, but they no longer are, because they are not really mobile. Mobilehomes can be hooked up and driven somewhere else and parked, basically older style trailers in my opinion. My grandparents lived in Mobilehomes for as long as I can remember.
There is a lot more to it than just "purchasing affordable housing". It's not very affordable in the long run, thus all the problems across the USA.
Homeowners want and need legal advice on Mobilehome living conditions, evictions, rules and regulations, rental agreements including long term leases and other landlord tenant laws.
Homeowners have a very hard time finding Lawyers or Paralegals who are knowledgeable on these laws and Homeowners have no special area to look up cases or other legal help.
Hopefully, through this group we can help each other get the information we need. Please post any problems you are having with your manufactured home, and check the files and links area for more information.
Please post and share your stories so that others can benefit from this group.
