Description

Detailed mapping of California railroads' vanishing rights-of-way and facilities. Our original focus was on Southern California's electric railroads (especially Pacific Electric and Los Angeles Railway), but we've now expanded to cover all railroads in the state, from all eras. Our goal remains to create a "database" of information to relate the old rights-of-way to today's street systems.

While general RR history is tied to the lines, we try to keep our focus on the geographic locations of the r/o/w's and facilities.

All new members are automatically on "moderated" status, to help keep out spammers and the like, but as soon as we know who you are your posts will go right through.

Welcome aboard!!
