This group is for you if you want to BE a mentor or HAVE a mentor AND live/work in the Chicagoland community!

The goal is to connect people who are starting out or starting over in their careers with experienced professionals who can mentor and guide them.

This is a VOLUNTARY process for both parties. A suggested commitment guideline would be to meet with your mentor a minimum of 6 times per year (every other month) or more.

If anyone has ever helped or guided you in your occupational challenges, this is a fantastic way to return the favor! For those being mentored, I only ask that you repay the favor in the future!

POSTING GUIDELINES:

In your subject line, state your request or offer:
Example 1: "Requesting Mentor in Social Work Field"
Example 2: "Offering Mentorship in Accounting"

Use the body of your posting to describe your experience and location and commitment you are willing to make. Interested parties can contact the person who posted via email and work out the details.
Report back to the group on having made a match so we can know that mentor match was made!

Members can also help bring professionals to our boards that can fill in the gaps for mentor matches that are unfilled---we all know somebody!
