Description
Milan, Italy tramway and transit discussion group. Discussion of the historical aspects of the tramway, subway and urban/suburban transport system in Milan, Italy. Included are changes in operation (replacement of trams with buses, new tram lines, Metropolitana construction and operation, etc.), planning policy, employee and observer remembrances, much more. Also included: Commuter rail systems in and around Milano; Milano trams operating in San Francisco, San Jose, Iowa, Melbourne and at museums.
The group's primary language is English, but Italian is also permitted if a translation is included.
Off-Topic (OT, TAN) posts are OK on a limited basis. Off-Topic posts related to other electric tramway and trolleybus systems in Italy is permitted. OT/TAN posts of trams from other countries is limited.
