The Montour Railroad, a splendid hardcover pictorial book, featuring 144 duotone (black & white) pages of sensitive photographic scenes along the Montour Railroad. In this new 12" x 9" book, coverage will be of some familiar scenes as well as some steam era photographs, a abundance of right of way scenes never before seen. Of the 144 pages, roughly 130 pages contain just one photograph. This new 144 page pictorial is printed on heavy 157 pound...acid free stock. There are several pages of paper correspondence all relating to the daily operational life of the Montour Railroad. Pictured is the front dust cover taken at Montour Junction Shops on Christmas Day 1980, the last Christmas the SW-9 locomotive fleet was together as a family.
