Mr. Froogles Bargains Presents:

Have Another Bite, My Love!

Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate the ones you love. And while you’re at it, why not celebrate the foods you love? Eating is an inherently sensual activity. It’s fun--especially when foods close to your heart are involved. Plus, certain foods are believed to have the power to boost your desires, making them just right for eating on Valentine's Day!

Caviar, oysters, figs, strawberries, and chocolate are just a few of the foods believed to be aphrodisiacs. While there’s not much scientific backing to this theory, there are many who subscribe to the belief that these are among a list of delicious edibles with exciting benefits! Presentation is certainly important; an unadorned raw oyster on a paper plate is hardly racy. But if you and your Valentine share some caviar on toasts, followed by slow roasted lamb with a side of asparagus, and finished with a double chocolate mousse—all eaten in candlelight—well, let’s just say we’d wager you’ll be up for a little celebrating. Wink wink.

Looking for a few ingredients to spice up your seductive spread?  A few suggestions:
Artichoke Hearts
Artichokes are believed to be aphrodisiacs—and on Valentine’s Day, of course you have to go right for the hearts.
Sweet Chile For Chicken
This sweet, hot sauce is perfect on chicken—and with chile and garlic, it’s also perfect for your amore! (Just keep the breath mints close by.)
White Truffle Oil
Truffles are thought to be aphrodisiacs—and this infused oil is a delicious (and economical) way to incorporate them into a Valentine’s dinner.
A World of Love Gift Kit
Forget the flowers and chocolate this year-- all the gifts you'll need to entice your Valentine are right here.
A Bite for Two Gift Kit
Just enough treats for two. Will make a delightful Valentine's day spread!
Looking for some easy recipes that’ll cause a sensation? Try these:
Artichoke, Tomato, and Mushroom Fusilli Stuffed Artichokes
Grilled Shrimp and Artichokes Asparagus Korean-Style
Arróz Verde (Poblano Chile Rice) Saffron Mussels
