You need to enable remote access on tne MCX-1000 in the configuration screens,
then type the ip address into your web browser which should then bring up the
login page
I always had to mess around with the DHCP settings on the MCX-1000.

Hey, I made $634 this week working for google at home. This is the most money I've ever made and I only work 3-4 hrs a day. I'm recommending this to everyone! I got started by reading this guys google blog
I’m sure you can find others around
by searching the web.
All the best,
Richard

I used the Seagate db35.3 Model ST3750840ACE Ultra ATA/100 750 GB
Works great, is quiet and uses less power. Not too sure how easy to find now,
but still on Seagate web site.

Did you know? Did you know? You can build your own solar panels,
saving $10,000’s off retail price? You have probably read about it or seen it on
TV,
but have you tried it yourself? "There is a step-by-step video guide online
right now
that can show you how to reduce your power bill by making your own solar
panels."

Hi Folks,
I didn't realize this group had any more active members, till I received an
email today. Has anyone found an alternative to the DiXiM server? I abondoned my
poor MCX and its collecting dust, because my PS3 can handle just about any
service I can throw at it. I got a free/open source client called "Fuppes"
recognized as a server by the MCX, but it never was able to browse and or play
songs.... I am using a Win2k Box, and refuse to upgrade, so Dixim is useless to
me.
Thanks,
Brian

HI Peter
thanks for your messae. i will try these tips, hope it helps.
Problem is that from living room i can hear basically all clients.
And also i have one wired client (ca-15) and that seems to have the biggest
delay??
I noticed the same thing with the random songs. it is defeniately a bug.

Hi,
This issue is also a common one for me too.
I find that if you use the client interface to set up the broadcast then you
will often get a fairly sizeable delay between the server and the client(s) --
not a huge issue if they're in different parts of the house / yard but a big
issue if you can hear them both from a central location (kind of like an echo).
One way to minimize this is to initiate the broadcast to clients directly on the
host/server interface rather than on the client interface. This seems to have
the effect of the server better synchronizing the wireless transmission.
Another thing I find annoying is that if you use the client interface to ask the
server to broadcast to it when the server is playing random songs -- only the
first song will be the same. All subsequent songs will be random by room with
the server playing a different song than each client. Seems like a bug to me!
;o)
Hope there's something helpful above...
Peter.
